I don’t feel 51.
Ok TODAY I don’t feel 51 but I’ve had a week of relaxing/getting stuff done while off from the LMV factory.
I’m sure once I get back into the swing of the overtime etc I’ll likely feel every day of 51.
There are good and bad qualities to factory life…I’m unsure whether it’s because we can do most things off husbands’s income and mine is therefore good for extras or playing catch up on bills.
For 20 years before I was a business travel professional. I’d finally tried my hand at management and the pandemic took me out of that track. So it was time to try something new.
I’ve tried to get back with BCD Travel with no luck. One advantage of the factory is a weekly paycheck that’s the equivalent of what I was making in two weeks there….so it’s much harder work, more physical than mental, but you’re getting paid well.
So I’m solving small problems around the house now, one at a time, now that I’ve gotten my new record player. While I’m building our savings account back, there will be some new patio furniture, then maybe someone to help patch some drywall on a few cracks that appeared when our foundation settled some.
Once we get those settled, then some better lenses for my camera.
(phone rings)
Annnnd there’s the call to come in four hours early tomorrow.
Of course I’ll do it.
Might as well hit the ground running…..
