It’s all about perspective.
When we’re young we know two things, black/white, right/wrong, good/bad. It as we grow up that we gather our experience points that we begin to see the striations, the gradients, the shades of grey and if we aren’t careful we develop the tunnel vision of the righteous that stops us from being able to see the whole spectrum.
That’s how we become a two party political system. That’s how we become bound to organized religion. That’s how we develop into ‘us’ and ‘them.’
It’s a wonder any of us survive to level up more than a few years.
